The early badger catches the worm as they say. So it was up early on Sunday for the usual Tennis workout. There were quite a lot of us that weekend, so I ended up straining myself against Graham in a singles match. It was pretty even after 7 games so we decide to call it quits and have a well earned cigarette break. My serve is still the weakest part of my game and much work needs to be done in that area to prevent me from feeling quite so lame. After Tennis I headed pubwards for a few post match bevies and then returned home to finish up the last few chapter of Way of the Shadows.
Book done and it was back to Stratholme for more scene shots (argggghh). A quick clearance and I was back to where I wanted to be. Trying to get the right shots has to be the hardest thing about making machinima. During my time in Strat I contemplated ripping out one of my graphics cards, placing it in my sisters’ machine so I could load a second account in an effort to get some great close up/walk in shots. I still haven’t ruled that option out yet, but I am loathe to disrupt my current SLi configuration.
With about 20/30 gigs worth of footage, I decided to boot up Premier Pro and started to edit what I had. The opening sequence looks quite good, but some of the shots need to be cleaned up a bit, after effects should take care of all that, but that’s another story.
