Isn’t it strange that literally any word you can think of sounds better when you add the ending ‘tastic’ to it? It’s one of those curious oddities in life like having pineapple on a pizza, it shouldn’t work, but it just does. There are many glorious things in life, personally I think it’s the little pleasures in life that make it all worthwhile, like an ice cold beer on a hot day, or a great guitar rift or the love of a bad woman.
Men are possibly the weakest creatures on Earth. Usually when the sh*t goes down we revert back into Neanderthals and head for the nearest metaphorical cave. I’m not quite sure why, but it’s probably because its dark, quiet and no-one asks you to do the washing-up.
On the weekend a few badgers and myself headed northwards to sunny Somerset on an impromptu road-trip. A friend of ours works as a site security guard on a demolition site so we decided to rock on up and take him some supplies. We stacked the car full of stubbies and BBQ goodness and sped off down M5 towards Bath.
As we left Exeter we spied the most remarkable M&S advert. It simply consisted off the torso off some well stacked hottie wearing some skimpy lingerie. Now as advertising goes I admire their simplicity, but I fear that the majority of their publicity machine comprises of men.

You have to ask the question; does this kind of advert really appeal to women? And what sort of conversion rates do they expect? I suspect that this latest advert was not aimed at women, but instead was a stunt designed to peak curiosity and publicity. In the news today the face of the advert was finally revealed and I have to admit she’s damn-tastic hot-tastic. For all you curious badgers out there here’s a picture of the pretty lady.

The road-trip ended in the usual predictable drunken manner. Within minutes we had reverted into savages. As you can imagine there’s lots to do and destroy on an abandoned building site. Several stubbies and some chair racing later and we fired up the BBQ and sat back in the glorious sunshine, after all it’s the little things in life that make it worthwhile…..
Nice Post. It was post-astic!
