Welcome back to the crazy world of van graffiti. A few weeks back I did a post about hippie van art, this week I thought I would continue the theme, but I decided to move away from the treehugging side of van art and move into some more urban styles. The vans this week all feature a sci-fi/fantasy theme with a big dollop of Star Wars thrown in. The amount of time and decoration used on these vans is extreme and must have cost a small fortune to do.
Van1
I love this fantasy theme it shows a great alien landscape. It’s definitely very 1980’s. Not quite sure about the two Dobermans on the front, but each to their own I guess.

Great looking landscape
Van2
This used van is blatantly driven by a complete Star Wars geek obsessed by Darth Maul, but the art is well done and the face on the front looks great. It’s a shame that he didn’t use the headlights for eyes that would have been well freaky.

The force is strong in this van
Van3
This is definitely the pick of the bunch. Once again it’s owned by a complete Star Wars geek, but the art is exceptional. It shows various scenes from the Empire Strike Back complete with R2D2, the Death Star and Luke and Vader fighting in the foreground. It’s awesome.

Luke.. I am a Volkswagen..
I’m not a Star Wars geek but from these three vans here, I like Van #3 too. I would have preferred close-up photos of these vans so we could appreciate the artwork more.
